Chris Roush, the founding director of the Carolina Business News Initiative at the UNC School of Journalism and Mass Communication, received the N.C. Professor of the Year award Thursday in Washington D.C.
The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education selected Roush, the Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Scholar in business journalism, from a field of more than 300 top professors in the United States.
