Louisville kicker Chris Philpott has missed a pair of field goals, other than that no one was come close to scoring in the first half of UNC’s match up with Louisville.
Louisville has controlled possession in the game so far racking up more than 20 minutes of possession. In that time the Cardinals have rushed for 82 yards, thrown for 106 and tallied 13 first down. The Tar Heels have not been nearly that effecient.
UNC had only 62 yards in the first half on 18 plays. They moved the chains only twice and never even sniffed the redone. Gio Bernard who had 35 yards, had thenTar Heels only turnover with a 2nd down fumble.
Zach Brown notched his fifth career interception with a pick on the UNC 17 yard line.
