Early voting and same-day registration begin today in North Carolina.
But residents who wish to vote in Orange County will have to wait until April 23 unless they plan to vote at the Board of Elections Office in Hillsborough.
All other Orange County early voting locations will open on the later date, including the Bell Tower Room on the second floor of Rams Head Dining Hall.
Those who wish to participate in same-day registration will have to bring identification to provide proof of residency.
Students may use their student ID.
Early voting ends May 5 and May 8 is primary election day.
