Four UNC professors were awarded the Phillip and Ruth Hettleman Prizes for Artistic and Scholarly Achievement by Young Faculty.
Evan Dellon, assistant professor of medicine, Malinda Maynor Lowery, associate professor of history, Kimryn Rathmell, associate professor in the School of Medicine and Yang Yang, associate professor of sociology, each received the award.
The Hettleman Prize recognizes the achievements of junior tenure-track or recently tenured faculty, and comes with a $5,000 stipend.
