The UNC School of Medicine received grants from The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation to offer international clinical research fellowships to students.
The school was awarded $864,000 to offer three fellowships each year for four years, beginning in 2013.
Students will pursue clinical research careers by working in developing countries for one year.
