The Chapel Hill Training Outreach program recently received a grant from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services’ Division of Social Services to help fund its Strengthening Families Program.
But the organization, which offers services to parents of children who are at-risk for possible abuse and neglect, is still seeking donations to help raise $2,800 so it can continue operations during the 2012-13 fiscal year.
The program, which provides family-building services to Orange County residents, is accepting non-perishable healthy snacks, juice boxes, coloring books, crayons and small kitchen items.
