Margaret Gourlay, an assistant professor in the UNC School of Medicine, was granted a Top 10 Clinical Research Achievement Award from the Clinical Research Forum.
Gourlay was recognized for her work leading the first study to define appropriate bone density screening times for older women.
She was given the award April 18 at the Clinical Research Forum annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
