Next up is The Funny, brought to you by Hot Chip, and it's one of the most humorous music videos I've seen in a while. Have you ever thought Hot Chip was a more appropriate sounding name for a boy band than a English electropop band? Hot Chip apparently has, and they explore that concept here. Along with the concept that if a weird looking bald and wrinkly guy wants to join your band, you better let him. Because if you don't, he'll melt your face off with laserbeams:

Last we come to The Bizarre, from (tellingly, perhaps) freak-folk rocker Devendra Banhart, with a music video for his song "Baby." It starts off innocently enough, with Devendra rocking some especially creepy facial hair and walking around town gather a flock of hip-looking friends. And then somewhere along the way, things go horribly wrong. Something happens, and Devendra and his friends end up in - stay with me now- a magical anus. That's what the folks over at Stereogum have concluded, and unfortunately, I'm inclined to agree. And in this magical anus, it turns out GZA of the Wu-Tang Clan is the ruler. And there are also lots of animated creatures for Devendra and his friends to frolic with. You just have to see it to believe it:
