This Girl finally speaks out after months of identity theft

This Girl bravely broke her silence about after having her identity stolen for months by a catfish.

She has been the victim of many cases of identity theft on the internet. According to This Girl, she has seen numerous people using her name in picture captions.

“At first I was like, oh wow, someone with the same name as me! That’s cool. But then I started seeing my name ALL THE TIME in Instagram pictures that I was not in. That’s when I started to suspect that something was not right.”

This Girl has launched an investigation into each instance where her name was used without permission.

“It’s just creepy,” she said. “Obviously all of those girls are not named This Girl. Just call them by their names so people can call me by mine.”

Some of the captions in question include:

“Love This Girl”

“Never want to leave This Girl”

“Congratulations to This Girl”

“Blessed to be on the same team as This Girl”

“A Valentine’s day pun would not do justice for just how great This Girl is”

“One year with This Girl!”

These perpetrators will be facing consequences in the future; This Girl says that she will be pressing charges.

“I know how much of a toll this has taken on me,” she said. “I can’t imagine how This Guy must feel.”
