The Democratic National Convention drew to a close Thursday night in Charlotte, NC. President Obama spoke in Time Warner Cable Arena to accept his nomination as the Democratic party’s presidential candidate. His speech was originally scheduled to take place in Bank of America Stadium, an uncovered venue, but plans were changed due to the threat of inclement weather.
