	UNC Women’s Soccer lost 1-0 to Florida State on September 27th, 2012 at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. North Carolina wore pink jerseys in support of breast cancer awareness. UNC moves to 5-3-2 and will play Miami at 1 p.m. Sunday September 30th at Fetzer Field.

President Barack Obama accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president in Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte on Thursday night.


	Vendors lined the streets of Charlotte this week to sell Obama-themed merchandise to DNC-goers. Items ranged from t-shirts to keychains to baby clothes. DNC attendees and delegates also joined in on the theme by wearing colorful outfits and kitschy accessories.
