UNC’s Waltiea Rolle tallied 13 points on 6-for-7 shooting against the Owls. The forward came off the bench and played only 18 minutes, but the 6-foot-6 sophomore recorded five blocks and grabbed four steals for the Tar Heels.
Jessica Breland continued her solid, late-season play by posting 13 points for North Carolina. The senior forward struggled through parts of the season but overcame an injury to help lead UNC.
UNC sophomore Tierra Ruffin-Pratt was one of five Tar Heels to score in double figures on Sunday. Ruffin-Pratt also handed out seven assists.
Bill Durham brought his sons, Nathan, 6, and Liam, 10, from Cary to visit the seventh annual LEGO-Palooza. The festival featured many creations, such as dragons, Star Wars, trains and buildings from the North Carolina LEGO Users Group. LEGO-Palooza was held at the Morehead Planetarium March 5 and 6.
