Money's "Take Charge Live!" event was held Wednesday night in the School of Government. Chapel Hill was named as one of the best cities to live in by the magazines. Editors and writers for the magazine held a Q&A on finances and investing. Mayor Mark Kleinschmidt opened the event.

Sheila Bynum Florence, Stanley Vickers and Ted Stone were some of the first 'Integration Pioneers' in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. The Town of Carrboro recognized the 50th anniversary of Vickers v Chapel Hill-Carrboro Schools by naming Monday Stanley Vickers Diversity Appreciation Day. An event was held in the Carrboro Century Center with speakers including Carrboro Mayor Mark Chilton, Rev. Robert Campbell, and Integration Pioneers Ted Stone, Sheila Bynum Florence and Stanley Vickers.

Instead of yelling bingo, participants had to yell words such as penis, boobs, balls, G spot, and vulva, which were at the top of their bingo cards. CHECS counselors put on 'Sex After Dark' in the Student Union's Cabaret Thursday night. Topics covered include STIs, LGBTIQA, how to put on a condom and consent. Activities included sexy bingo, a condom relay race, polls via texting, and anonymous Q&A,

Aimie Lasa, a senior psychology major from Goldsboro, and Claire Kurdys, a junior political science major from Asheville, participated in Thursday's competition "What would you do for Duke tickets?" put on by Carolina Athletic Association in the Pit. Lasa and Kurdys covered themselves in fudge, eggs, and feathers and ate nightcrawlers but lost to Matt Karas, who made 1000 paper cranes. "It's always been about embarrassing yourself," said Laras. This was their last chance to go a Duke game as Lasa is a senior and Kurdys will be studying abroad.
