Juan Tuset, 2011 UNC Global Studies major and Hispanic and Latino/Latina Studies minor, prepares a grocery cart for a family for the month. Tuset works at the IFC as the new director of Hispanic outreach. He says he enjoys working for IFC because they are "doing things to mitigate the rigors of poverty," especially here in the Chapel Hill area.

UNC Bridge Club players Kenneth Chuk, economics Ph.D student, Ovunc Yilmaz, graduate student in operations research, and Patrick Domico, senior music major, enjoy a game of bridge. The team won the North American Collegiate Championships last year in February and went on to compete in Canada for the finals, finishing second.
Roberto Garcia works at the Taqueria Del Jalisco food truck located at 206 E. Main Street. The truck is open from 6pm-1am Tuesday to Saturday.
David W. Owens, Gladys Hall Coates professor of public law, was awarded the first Edward Kidder Graham Service Award for his work over the past 22 years serving the university and community. Owens said that the award represents "what a state university aught to do: take the best of our research and knowledge and put it to work."
