Ahmad Jitan, a senior at Duke, sits beside the tent that students from UNC and Duke have been camping out in on Duke's campus. The group of students is standing in solidarity with the prisoners on hunger strike at Guantanamo Bay. "What is something that we could do?" Jitan said he thought before deciding to camp out. The group has a petition you can sign that calls for the closing of Guantanamo Bay. Jitan was sitting in the quad on LDOC, surrounded by food trucks and students getting ready for the evening's concerts. The group will be camped out indefinitely.
