Students storm Dean Dome entryway before Kentucky basketball game

Hundreds of students were turned away from Saturday’s basketball game against Kentucky after waiting in line for hours in the rain. After the security officers cut off entry into the game, the remaining students began chanting and rioting as they stormed the gate.

18 North Carolina defeats 11 Kentucky: 82-77

Coming off of their huge road win against former #1 Michigan State, UNC Men’s Basketball had their eyes set on taking down the Kentucky Wildcats. The Dean Dome was electric this evening as they defeated Kentucky in a close 82-77 victory. Senior citizens do more at Seymour Center

After realizing the increase in senior citizens in the Chapel Hill area, Robert Seymour decided to create the Robert & Pearl Seymour Center in honor of his wife that passed away a few years ago. At the Seymour Center, senior citizens have a wide variety of activities to choose from to occupy their time.

‘Legally Blonde: The Musical’ turns the stage pink

Company Carolina’s “Legally Blonde: The Musical” opens Friday at Historic Playmakers Theatre. The show runs through Sunday at 7 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee also on Sunday.
