Keys for UNC: Take care of the ball. North Carolina had only 10 turnovers against Clemson, which is where they need to be if they're going to be competitive down the ACC stretch. After facing Jason Williams and Chris Duhon on Thursday, Tony Akins and Marvin Lewis might not look like that big of a challenge, but the duo could cause trouble for Adam Boone and Melvin Scott.
Keys for Georgia Tech: Build on Wednesday's 31-point victory against Florida State. The Yellow Jackets have had a worse season than the Tar Heels, conference-wise, and are in need of a victory just as badly as UNC. They're a lot smaller than the Tar Heels, so they're going to have to figure out an effective way to defend Kris Lang inside.
UNC Bench: Brian Morrison has to play better. UNC coach Matt Doherty showed Sunday that he wasn't about to let Morrison play if he couldn't take care of the ball. UNC's Dec. 3 game against the Yellow Jackets was Morrison's best outing to date, and he needs to duplicate that effort to get himself back in his coach's good graces.
Georgia Tech Bench: Six-foot-8 Robert Brooks contributes 4.5 points a game and should see a lot of minutes helping the Yellow Jackets guard Lang.
