Weeks ACC's Swimmer of Week
GREENSBORO -- North Carolina's Kelly Weeks was picked ACC women's swimming and diving performer of the week. Weeks broke the ACC record in the 200-yard butterfly during the weekend, a mark that had stood since 1985. She was clocked in at 1:58.03, .01 seconds better than the '85 mark.
Testo Named ACC Player of Week
North Carolina's David Testo and Virginia's Alecko Eskandarian earn ACC mens soccer co-player of the week honors after leading the Tar Heels and Cavaliers to perfect records this past week.
Testo, a senior forward, scored two goals for a total of four points last week.
Greene Earns Player of Week Honors
North Carolina outside hitter Laura Greene was named ACC volleyball player of the week after leading the No. 12 Tar Heels to a pair of conference wins. Greene averaged 6.00 kills and 5.25 digs as Carolina topped No. 23 Georgia Tech 3-2 and Clemson 3-0.
She is ranked third in the ACC with 4.19 kills per game and second with 3.65 digs per game.
