2:30 p.m. MONDAY — Sheriffs have identified the two men found shot to death Saturday. David Junior Hayden 49 of Hillsborough and Willie Robertson Elliott III 31 of Durham were found at a residence at a Highway 70 East residence.
Hayden's only known residence is the house at which he was found dead. His family in South Carolina has been notified.
The renter of the house Demario Montta Thompson left the house at about midnight Friday. Saturday morning he missed a call from his girlfriend. His girlfriend then went to the residence Saturday morning and found the front door kicked in and the bodies in the living room.
Sherriffs say that motives for the homicide have not been established and they will continue to follow leads today.
