The Daily Tar Heel

TO THE EDITOR:

Do you want to make a difference here at Carolina? Do you want to work with a dedicated and amazing group of students? Are you passionate about a topic or issue?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, consider applying to the executive branch cabinet.

The Medlin administration is seeking driven and passionate individuals to lead numerous student government committees and projects for next year, including Environmental Affairs, Student Life, Greek Affairs, Global University and much more. There are more than 20 committees and special projects from which to choose.

It doesn’t matter what your passion or interest is, there is a committee or special project for you. Please check out the application for brief descriptions of each committee or project.

New projects for this year include NC STAGE, which will deal with addressing the educational achievement gap, and expanding the PR/Marketing teams which will oversee publicity, design and public opinion efforts for Student Government.

Past experience in Student Government is not required; any student interested is encouraged to apply.

Applications are ready and available online at unc.edu/studgov and should be e-mailed to cabinetapps2010@gmail.com no later than 5 p.m. April 8.

We encourage you to check out Hogan’s condensed platform to learn more about student government’s vision for Carolina.
