Come see the seniors’ last game in the Dean Dome

Last Wednesday night, 4,000 student seats went unused for the UNC vs. Florida State men’s basketball game. The ticket policy I helped developed has caused a lot of controversy this year about not being able to go and sit with your friends.

Yet last Wednesday, you could have come just before tipoff with your closest 477 friends and would have still been able to have great seats and all sit together.

Do not let your bitterness or hatred toward me or the ticket policy affect honoring our seniors tonight.

These seniors have been a part of the past four years of the UNC basketball program and deserve a crowd for their last game in the Dean Dome.

For those of us that are seniors, this will be the last time we will ever see Carolina basketball as a student in the Dean Dome.

Please come to the Dean Dome tonight at 8 p.m. and honor our seniors, who have worked hard and sweated tirelessly over the past four years to bring you some amazing memories and games that you will remember for the rest of your life.

Even if you do not have a ticket, do not let this stop you, as it never should. Simply come to the game 30 minutes before tipoff, and I will personally make sure you get into the game. We are coming off a win, and our boys played great on Saturday against Wake Forest.

Don’t think back and regret missing out on Senior Night!
