Police log for March 24, 2010

Someone entered an apartment and stole $100 boots at 6:37 p.m. Monday at 400 W. Rosemary St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The boots were later recovered, reports state.

Someone yelled at customers of Cafe Driade at 1215 E. Franklin St. at 5:27 p.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

Someone stole a $1,200 scooter from a parking lot between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:45 a.m. Monday at a 102 Isley St. home, according to Chapel Hill police reports. It was later recovered.

Someone broke the rear window of a Durham apartment and stole a $200 jewelry box between 9:30 a.m. and 1:52 p.m. Monday at 5639 Old Chapel Hill Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

A Chapel Hill man was arrested for felony larceny and misdemeanor failure to appear in court at 7:05 p.m. Monday at the men’s shelter at 100 W. Rosemary St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. David A. Hall, 24, was held at Orange County Jail in lieu of a $2,000 secured bond, reports state.
