‘Get on the Ball’ charity event begins this week

The Alpha Pi Colony of Zeta Beta Tau is happy to announce our annual “Get on the Ball” philanthropy event, which began Monday and lasts through Friday.

Brothers will be rolling a six-foot beach ball around campus collecting signatures to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals.

Businesses on Franklin Street and throughout the Chapel Hill community have pledged to donate eight cents per signature, and it is completely free to sign.

Our goal for this year is to collect 10,000 signatures. Please look for the ball all this week and sign if you have a chance.
