The Daily Tar Heel

TO THE EDITOR:

Vote general admission two tickets policy for men’s basketball. It’s the best method for everyone, undergraduate and graduate students, die-hard fans and the newly initiated. Going to the games with friends is more fun. You can bring a date or a friend. You can choose between arriving early for great seats or arriving later with a big group of friends and sitting together.

The standby line allows students that didn’t win the lottery to still see the game. The argument for twice as many students winning the lottery is false — the same number of students get to go to the game either way. The difference is who you will go with.

Reserved seating is lame as it splits up groups of friends and doesn’t reward die-hard fans with good seats for showing up early. And there isn’t a standby line. Vote for the ticketing policy that makes the most sense for students — vote general admission two tickets!
