TO THE EDITOR:
Have you been watching as state government has been getting bigger? What about watching our freedoms taken right out from under us? The state budget has increased dramatically over the last eight years. Does that make sense? Here in Orange and Person Counties our current state senator received an “F” rating from the NRA for protecting our right to bear arms.
It’s about time we start looking at changing who is representing us in the N.C. State Senate. Anyone with common sense knows government is not the answer to our problems. We can’t tax our way to prosperity, but we can tax ourselves into a worse condition. How do I know all of this great stuff? I’ve been listening to Ryan Hilliard. Do you know who he is?
He is running for the North Carolina Senate in the 23rd District, and if elected will work to lower taxes and eliminate wasteful spending. He has a strong business background and a political science education. He will represent our values in state government, and fight to protect our freedoms like our right to bear arms.
