  • Someone created and cashed a fraudulent check worth $467.15 at 1:36 p.m. Nov. 2 at 143 East Rosemary St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone was transported to the emergency room after being intoxicated, falling, hitting their head and losing a tooth at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday at 100 North Columbia St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone was reported pulling on car doors at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday at 121 N. Columbia St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone started prying open a window after taking off the screen at a home at 233 Kirkwood Drive at 10:49 a.m. Wednesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
    Damage to the home was valued at $85, reports state.
  • Someone found a sick puppy and wanted to surrender it at 10:49 a.m. Wednesday at 1089 Municipal Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone stole a $30 wallet between 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday at East Chapel Hill High School, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
    The wallet $80 in cash and credit and debit cards, reports state.
  • An employee may have stolen $500 in cash by manipulating cash register transactions at TCBY at 1800 East Franklin St. at 9 a.m. Nov. 10, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone stole a GPS from an unsecured vehicle between 5 p.m. Sunday and 8:56 a.m. Monday at 224 Kirkwood Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The Tom Tom GPS was worth $300, reports state.
  • Someone entered a home through an unlocked sliding door and stole a laptop and a wallet between 12:01 a.m. and 5:05 a.m. Tuesday at 601 Jones Ferry Road, according to Carrboro police reports.
  • Someone smashed the window of a car and stole a portable DVD player from the backseat between 10 p.m Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday at 112 N.C. Highway 54, according to Carrboro police reports.
