  • A Sanford man was arrested for the possession of schedule two narcotics at 12:46 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Graham Street and Rosemary Street, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Keonte Thomas was in possession of .3 grams of crack cocaine at the time of his arrest, reports state.
  • A Roxboro man was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle at 11:15 p.m. Sunday at 103 Bright Sun Place, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Farrahquan Glenn, also known as “Squeaky,” was brought before the magistrate and was put in Orange County Jail under a $15,000 secured bond, reports state.
  • A Chapel Hill man was arrested for setting fire to woodlands at 12:11 p.m. Friday at 750 S. Merritt Mill Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Arresting officer Wheeler served a criminal summons to Oscar Gonzalez-Roque and mailed a parent notification letter to his mother, reports state.
  • Someone tossed items through a window to gain entry to a vehicle between 1 a.m. and 2:47 a.m. Sunday at 100 E. Rosemary St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole a pocketbook worth $25 that contained $100 in cash and a driver’s license worth $25, reports state.
  • Someone threw a rock through a car window and stole property between 11 p.m. Saturday and 9:45 a.m. Sunday at 326 Brooks St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole an iPod Touch worth $100 and caused $200 worth of damage to the door of the red 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, reports state.
  • Someone stole a jacket between 1:30 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. Monday from 201 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The Burberry military jacket was valued at $500 and contained a passport valued at $25 and a set of keys valued at $10, reports state.
