  • Someone damaged a black 2002 Honda Accord between 3:10 a.m. and 3:41 a.m. Sunday at 311 Sunset Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person caused $100 in damage to the tail lights, $50 in damage to the trunk and $50 in damage to the hood of the car, reports state.
  • Someone stole an unlocked green 1995 Mercury Villager worth $1,000 between 5:31 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday at 8 Cobb Terrace, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone opened and entered a kitchen window between 9:30 a.m. and 9:42 p.m. Sunday at 3 Essex Lane, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole a Dell laptop worth $400, a PlayStation 3 worth $300, a Samsung surround sound system worth $400 and a 50-inch plasma television worth $1,500, reports state.
  • Someone entered another person’s detached garage through the side door and went through his green 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera at 3:49 a.m. Monday at 1140 Pinehurst Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. An inventory of the car’s property is pending, reports state.
  • Five vehicles were broken into between 2 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Someone broke the window of a white 2007 Toyota Camry and stole $305 in personal property at 7208 Drew Hill Lane, reports state. Someone broke the window of a gray 2010 Honda Civic and stole a GPS worth $110 at 10000 Drew Hill Lane, reports state. Someone broke the window of a green 1995 Ford Explorer and stole $300 in personal property at 5639 Old Durham Road, reports state. Someone broke the windows of a green 2006 Toyota Camry and a 2007 Ford Lgt Convtnl and stole a GPS worth $150 and $40 in cash at 1611 Providence Glen Drive, reports state.
  • Someone stole $24 in personal property from a purse between 1:15 a.m. and 2 a.m. Sunday at 206 W. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
