TO THE EDITOR:

Kappa Delta Sorority is working in partnership with the Confidence Coalition, an alliance which strives to promote self-confidence in girls and women, to win a $250,000 grant from Pepsi Refresh in order to host a two-day Confidence Summit for Girls.

The summit will provide more than 300 girls ages 10 to 18 with the opportunity to come together and discuss topics that girls struggle with, such as bullying, gossiping, body image and peer pressure. Participants will engage in interactive sessions and workshops. The summit will culminate in voting on one “girl issue” to battle in the upcoming year with the Confidence Coalition member groups’ leadership.

Help to make the Confidence Summit for Girls a reality by voting at http://www.refresheverything.com/confidencesummit or by texting 105643 to Pepsi at 73774 (standard text messaging rates apply). Vote from now until January 31!
