The North Carolina baseball team gave up the first run in each of its three games against Florida State but managed to win its first series in Tallahassee since 1995, anyway.

UNC freshman Kent Emanuel was knocked out of Saturday’s game early, but UNC’s bullpen redeemed itself by not allowing a run the rest of the way. UNC rallied in the fifth and won, 8-5.
Freshman Colin Moran had three hits in the finale as a seven-run third inning propelled the Tar Heels to a 7-6 win.
