Police log for June 2, 2011

  • A restaurant employee threw a plate at another employee at 8:45 p.m. Sunday at 115 S. Elliott Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone stole three copper down spouts between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. Friday at 213 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The spouts were valued at $200 total, reports state.
  • Someone committed vandalism by clogging a toilet with tampons and pouring out detergent at 11:02 a.m. Thursday at 304 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone made entry into an apartment and caused $15 of damage to a black cabinet at 2:19 a.m. Saturday at 506 N. Columbia St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
