Student records stolen from SASB North

Confidential records for 31 students were stolen after a break-in at the student judicial system office in Student and Academic Services Building North, according to UNC News Services. The larceny was discovered at 8 a.m. Monday.

The office houses the University’s Honor Court, and the records stolen were “sensitive,” according to UNC News. The students whose records were taken are being contacted and informed of the theft.

The Department of Public Safety is investigating the crime, and urges anyone with relevant information to contact investigator Ross Barbee at 919-962-0564.
