TO THE EDITOR:
The Human Rights Center (HRC) at Abbey Court has become part of student culture. Several Campus Y groups have programs there, including LINC, Technology without Borders, Community Empowerment Fund and Advocates for Human Rights. Nearly all of my students in SOCI 273 have service learning responsibilities at Abbey Court.
Inexplicably, the managing company of Abbey Court wants to shut us down. We want to stay until the end of the spring term so that we can find new space. We thank you for your support by signing our petition at http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/the-human-rights-center/
