TO THE EDITOR:
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I love that the DTH allows students to express how they are feeling about things that occur on our campus.
However, lately I have been bothered by the comments that appear on the DTH articles posted online. I understand that people often disagree with what other think and say and disagreement and conflict are part of life.
But when did it become acceptable to attack other students for expressing their opinions?
It is not funny, and it is unkind.
Making vulgar and rude comments about another student’s opinion while hiding behind anonymity is cowardly, and I think it reflects poorly on our UNC community as a whole.
