UPDATE: Second person arrested in connection with Rosemary Street shooting

Chapel Hill police have arrested another person in connection with a shooting that occurred in a parking lot on West Rosemary Street Friday.

Nasheka Renee Clark has been arrested for one felony count of accessory after the fact – attempted first-degree murder in connection with the Friday shooting, according to a Wednesday evening press release from Chapel Hill Police.

Clark is being held at the Orange County Jail under a $250,000 secured bond.

The victim of the Friday shooting has been identified as Ishamel David Hamilton Jr., 31, according to a Wednesday morning press release.

Hamilton is in stable condition and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Hamilton is not a UNC student.

Dennis Junious Clark, 23, was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder after turning himself in to police Monday in connection with Friday’s shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515. There is a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
