Updated April 3 7:25 p.m.: UNC Media Relations said the power outage that part of campus experienced this evening resulted from an issue at the Cameron Substation in Chapel Hill. UNC Energy Services has responded and power has been restored to campus.

Several locations on campus lost power this evening, according to eyewitness reports received by The Daily Tar Heel.

Some of the locations include Davis Library, the Undergraduate Library, the Frank Porter Graham Student Union, Lenoir Dining Hall, Curtis Media Center and Carroll Hall. Students have reportedly been evacuated from the Student Union.

UNC Media Relations said it does not know the source of the outage.

This is a developing story. Check back here for updates.
