The Brice is Right 

The North Carolina men's basketball team owes a lot to forward Brice Johnson. The senior is an All-American and is one of the key reasons that the Tar Heels will be playing for the National Championship on Monday.

Points in the Paint

When the 3-point shot isn't falling, UNC basketball has to rely on their front-court. Brice Johnson, Kennedy Meeks, and Isaiah Hicks play in the point is what propelled the Tar Heels past the Syracuse Orange on Saturday.

The Final Battle

For UNC's seniors, every game during the NCAA Tournament could have been their last. That is most likely the reason for the seniors stepping up so far in tournament play. The Tar Heels wouldn't be where they are without the help of Brice Johnson, Marcus Paige, and of recent, Joel James.

Berry Nice

When nothing seemed to be working for North Carolina's guards during the first half of their matchup with Syracuse, Joel Berry knew he needed to step up. The guard ignited the Tar Heels offense and propelled them to the Final Four victory.

The Meeks Will Inherit the Earth

The play of Kennedy Meeks has saved the North Carolina Tar Heels in their last two games. After having an up and down season, Meeks has turned it on when it matters most, the NCAA Tournament.

  • The North Carolina baseball team faces High Point on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Boshamer Stadium.
  • The North Carolina women's tennis team plays N.C. State at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Chapel Hill.
  • The North Carolina baseball faces UNC Asheville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Chapel Hill.
  • The North Carolina softball team plays Georgia on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Athens, GA.
