North Carolina is leading Albany 46-29 at the half. The Tar Heels have held a comfortable margin for most of the game and flirted with a 20-point lead twice, but quickly lost it both times.
Graves hit a pair of wide-open three pointers with five minutes to go in the half to push the lead up to 39-19. A few minutes later, Thompson had a steal for a wide-open dunk and Henson followed with the same play on the next possession to put the Tar Heels up 44-23.
Will Graves and Deon Thompson have nine points each for the Tar Heels. Justin Watts and Marcus Ginyard are not in uniform for UNC, so Dexter Strickland got his first career start.
