David Wear possibly out against FSU

Pile David Wear onto the fallen North Carolina body wagon.

According to a report from The (Raleigh) News & Observer, the freshman post player has an injured hip that may hold him out of the Florida State match Wednesday in Chapel Hill.

Wear has started in two games, logs more than 10 minutes a contest and scores a shade under three points a game. He's one of the better three-point shooters on the team, shooting 8-for-16 so far this year.

His presence will be missed in the post, where his 6-foot-10, 225-pound frame added much-needed size to the Tar Heels. UNC has recently been hit with a rash of injuries that have weakened its play in the paint.

Ed Davis is likely out for the season with an injured wrist, Tyler Zeller just returned after missing 10 games and David's brother Travis hasn't seen action since Feb. 7 at Maryland.
