UNC and Wake Forest scoreless at the half

After one half of play the top-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels are tied 0-0 with No. 19 Wake Forest at Fetzer Field.

Wake Forest leads the Tar Heels in shots 5-4 with the Demon Deacons landing two on frame.

A little after mid way into the half Wake Forest really threatened the UNC goal and a Ross Tamselli forced Tar Heel goalkeeper Scott Goodwin to lay out for the punching save.

UNC’s best look came when Andy Craven broke free down the right sideline and cracked one on goal but Wake’s Michael Lisch was up to the challenge.
