The North Carolina men’s soccer team has been in control for most of the first half against the Georgia State and lead 1-0.
Tyler Engel put in his sixth goal of the season to get the Tar Heels on the scoreboard at the 21:15 mark.
Engel and his fellow forwards, Cooper Vandermaas-Peeler and Verneri Valimaa have all been extremely active up top for UNC, offensively and defensively.
Vandermaas-Peeler assisted Engel on his goal, and Verneri has been consistently supplying his teammates with goal scoring opportunities, in the way of crosses into the box.
The back line for North Carolina has also been effective, limiting the Panthers to just one shot.

- North Carolina leads in shots on goal, 2-0
- North Carolina leads in corner kicks, 1-0
