Syracuse leads UNC 34-22 at the half

At a promising start, the North Carolina basketball team trails Syracuse 34-22 at the half. The Tar Heels jumped out to a 15-11 lead early in the game, scoring 10 points off of five Syracuse turnovers in the opening minutes.

Let’s see what the Tar Heels have been up to: The North Carolina men’s basketball team continued to struggle last night against a young Miami team and their zone defense, Senior Writer Brooke Pryor writes. The team moved to 0-2 in conference play and leading scorer Marcus Paige managed just 8 points.

The North Carolina men’s basketball team opened up its bout with Miami with a eight-point run, but that lead quickly slipped away as the Hurricanes ended the first half leading UNC 29-23.

UNC leads Cincinnati 23-3 at halftime

CHARLOTTE — Proving proficient in all three phases of the game, the North Carolina football team jumped out to a 23-3 lead in the first half of Saturday’s Belk Bowl Matchup with Cincinnati.

No. 14 North Carolina leads Davidson 38-35 at the break in the Smith Center. The Tar Heels shot 37.1 percent from the field, and only knocked down two 3-pointers in the first half.
