UNC volleyball up 2-0 at the break

At the break between the second and third sets of the North Carolina volleyball team’s matchup with Albany, the Tar Heels lead 2-0.


UNC volleyball picks up second sweep in Carolina Classic

Despite his team’s straight-sets victory against George Washington Friday night in the first game of the Carolina Classic, North Carolina volleyball coach Joe Sagula knew his squad had a lot to improve on. He also knew that the James Madison Dukes would provide more of a threat to UNC’s undefeated record in an early afternoon affair at Carmichael arena.


UNC volleyball defeats George Washington 3-0

After a long trip to Ohio last weekend where the North Carolina volleyball team swept the Bobcat Invitational, the squad returned to Chapel Hill Friday night and picked up right where it left off.


UNC field hockey shuts out ODU

Coach Karen Shelton said her North Carolina women’s field hockey team would have to measure up against an imposing meter stick Friday night in the form of rival Old Dominion. UNC wouldn’t need a stepladder to contend.


UNC field hockey ahead of ODU 2-0 at the half

The No. 1 North Carolina field hockey team leads No. 15 Old Dominion 2-0 at the half. Sophomore Emma Bozek scored both goals in the early minutes of the first half.
