Drake's 15 best moments of 2015

It’s been a big year for Drizzy. I wouldn’t say he started from the bottom by any means, but he’s now way up.

He's going into 2016 with five Grammy nominations as Billboard's Top R&B/Hip Hop Artist, so it's safe to say he's not stopping anytime soon. Just to prove how much he's dominated this year, we've gathered Drake's top 15 moments of 2015.

15. The time he killed the Instagame (as always) and reminded us of his humble beginnings, getting 688k likes in the process.

14. When he destroyed Meek Mill’s Twitter diss with two tracks: Charged Up and Back to Back, shutting down any ghostwriting rumors. Meek Mill is probably just angry that Drake and Nicki Minaj are so close, and Drake made it clear that he doesn't have time for Twitter drama.

13. When Back to Back got him a Grammy nomination (sorry Meek.)

12. When he hit 751k Instagram likes with a selfie that made our hearts skip a beat.

11. When he topped Toronto Life’s Toronto’s 50 Most Influential People and made the cover, calling it his “most important magazine cover to date” on Instagram. It seems that all the man wants is to reign as king of the 6, and that he does.

10. The time he decided to make his opinions about Justin Bieber’s love life very clear. Justin posted a throwback of him and Selena circa 2014 last week, and some fans didn't immediately realize it was an old photo. Drake commented “thought this was a Jelena current day flick” with a disappointed emoji. Don’t cry, Drake.

9. When he let us know he feels the same about Adele as the rest of the world. After Adele said she would love to do a remix of Hotline Bling in an interview, Drake responded with “I’d do anything with Adele. I’d literally go to Adele’s house right now and do laundry for her.” Truly adorable.

8. When a church created and performed a gospel version of Hotline Bling. Check it out here. "You can always call me ‘cause I’m yours Lord”… I don’t know what to say. But I'm pretty sure that means he's made it.

7. When he dropped If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late in February without any announcement or warning. That was honestly a little too much for me to handle, but it quickly dominated the charts.

6. In August when said album was the first of the year to go platinum. It was Drake’s fourth platinum record, so he was probably unfazed.

5. When he took the spot of Billboard’s top R&B/Hip-Hop artist of the year. But, like, who's surprised?

4. The time when his dancing in Hotline Bling broke the internet, resulting in memes, vines, SNL skits, and more.

3. When Hotline Bling became his first top 10 single in the last two years, making sure everyone knows he’s still on top.

2. When he became the world’s most streamed artist on Spotify with over 1.8 billion streams in 2015.

1. When his mixtape with Future, What a Time to be Alive, was released and blew us all away. After the album debuted at number one, Drake became the first rapper to have two number one albums in a year since Jay Z accomplished this feat in 2004.

What a time to be alive, indeed.
