Don't fear the drop
If you're not enjoying a class and it doesn't apply to your major, it just gets harder to be motivated to study and be successful. Make the changes early on; it happens to everyone.
Plastic > Reusable
You might think buying plasticware and paper plates is tedious but at some point you will be too busy to wash dishes. And nobody likes moldy bowls in the room.

Clothes: bring a lot
I know you're supposed to be cautious of your limited space, but you'll want to have an outfit for any occasion.
No one can fully equip the journey ahead. Your path is personal and experience is a major key.
