with Scott Miller, CPC, ELI-MP Date: Sunday, March 14, 2021 Time: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM Fee: $13 ($12 Members) Mindfulness and meditation are getting a lot of attention these days, from articles in the Harvard Business Review to studies by psychologists and neuroscientists. The basic techniques are easy to learn and practice. Join us for an introduction to meditation in a beautiful outdoor setting. We will mainly practice seated meditation with an optional short walking meditation. Whether you’re a complete beginner, or you’ve been meditating for years and enjoy practicing with a group, we’d love to see you there! What to bring: You may want a chair, cushion, beach towel, and/or blanket to sit on. There will be some chairs and a few spots on benches available. You may want sunscreen, a hat, or insect repellant as the class will take place in a sunny, natural area. Bring a bottle of water as our water fountains are currently blocked off. Bring a mask to wear when inside or when you are unable to maintain 6 feet between you and others outdoors. We will practice 6 or more feet from each other. See all dates and register here
