Daisy Mae is a 6-year-old Yorkie Poo She was rescued from a local puppy mill after spending much of her life trapped in a cage. She was a mother in the mill and was forced to have dozens of puppies to be sold for profit. Carol Wolf, her new owner, is a UNC business journalism professor and a former Bloomberg reporter.
