Lewis Black spared no kind words for a society that ever aggravates him during his Friday night performance at the Carolina Comedy Jam. Black, one of the few comics who beat weather delays to make the event, did not fail to disappoint a packed house at the Hill Alumni Center as he performed an extended set, lambasting what he called "senseless" holidays such as New Year's and Valentine's Day.
