Sophomore Hannah Wenberger, the Puppies in the Pit coordinator, sits with playful Dipstick in the Pit on Tuesday afternoon to attract students to Dance Marathon recruitment. "We usually try to have puppies in the pit at least once a week," she said. "Usually on Mondays, except when campus organizations ask us to support them." The puppies, like Dipstick and his two brothers, come from Orange County Animal Shelter. Many students swarmed around the puppy pin. "Shameless," said freshman Jesse Enterline. "Luring people to dance marathon with puppies. It's brilliant."
