UNC wrestling rallies for first ACC win of the season

The North Carolina wrestling team rewrote a familiar narrative to earn its first ACC win of the season against Virginia, 27-20. The Tar Heels fell down 12-0 early in Saturday's dual — making it the third straight ACC matchup that saw them fighting from behind. The first two results saw UNC blown out at the hands of Virginia Tech and N.C. State.

UNC wrestling finishes 2-1 in Northeast Duals

In its first dual meet of the season, the No. 12 North Carolina wrestling team came out on top. All-American Ethan Ramos' technical fall in the 165-pound bout helped the Tar Heels slip by perennial power Minnesota 20-17 in the tournament opener on Sunday, as UNC finished 2-1 in the ASICS Northeast Duals in Troy, N.Y.
