Released on Feb. 16, "Song Keepers: A 30 Year Anthology," tells the stories of over 75 blues, roots, folk and gospel musicians who have worked with Music Maker, a Hillsborough organization that financially supports artists within those genres and provides access to music tools.
Corey Brandon, a sophomore at UNC, started his podcast firstly because he enjoys talking with people, especially about pop culture. Brandon is just one of many students on campus who are amplifying their voices and the voices of others through their episodes.
On Wednesday, Davis Library celebrated 40 years of being open with free holographic stickers, Rameses stuffed animals, music from WXYC and t-shirts printed on-site with neon pink lettering.
